IMPACT lab provides excellent opportunities for students to work on cutting edge research projects with state of the art CAD tools and lab resources. Many joint projects permit students to work with industrial partners such as IBM USA, VTT Electronics Finland, and academic partners like Georgia Institute of Technology USA, Berkeley University USA and Carleton University Canada,  and government research labs such as CRC and NRC Canada.

Prospective Masters students are encouraged to apply directly to KAUST admissions.  Once selected in KAUST, they can join IMPACT lab for directed research (short term research projects) or Masters thesis.

PhD and Post-doctoral applicants must apply directly to principal investigator Dr. Atif Shamim for available positions in the group.
